2. The Public Partnership Forum |
We asked some members of the NHS 24 Public Partnership Forum (PPF) about their experience of working with NHS 24 and their involvement in the development of various projects.
This is what they had to say.
Margaret Totten
"I have enjoyed the wealth of knowledge that I have gained and the experience of feeling part of a team rather than a token gesture, which is often the way volunteers can feel when sitting on a forum, board or committee.
"Training opportunities allow for self-development and help me within my role."
Margaret Anderson
"Since I have been a member of the PPF, I have always felt valued by all the NHS 24 staff.
"This is most evident when I participate with staff on projects with the remit to update and improve frontline resources, such as the NHS 24 website.
"In such situations my opinion and input is respected and considered as that of any other member of the team."
Jane Turner
"I feel that I contribute to the organisation and that my input is valued.
"NHS 24 staff are prepared to listen and take forward new ideas."
We would welcome your interest in joining our PPF. Email: pfpi@nhs24.scot.nhs.uk
You don't have to join our PPF to influence the development of NHS 24 services.
Throughout the year, we will invite consultation on any significant changes to our services.
