The public partnership forum

1. Why should I get involved? 3. Views of our PPF members
2. The Public Partnership Forum

Our Public Partnership Forum (PPF) includes members of the public who work together to ensure that our service is accessible to patients, carers and people from Scotland’s diverse communities. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and have different reasons for getting involved. They could be:

  • involved with their local health board
  • individuals with an interest in improving health services
  • representatives from a community group

As a member of the PPF you'll have:

  • active involvement in the decision making process
  • support, supervision and guidance
  • opportunities to meet staff members
  • a full induction
  • the use of accessible venues
  • a place in an organisation which has a UK quality standard for good practice in volunteer management

All, of us, no matter our background, have a valid contribution to make in shaping our services.

See what our current PPF members have to say about their experience.
