We cannot make an appointment for you with your GP. This is because we're not part of your doctor’s practice. We don’t have any direct links with them so can’t make appointments for you. We may advise you to make an appointment with your doctor when you call us, but you'll need to phone their practice directly yourself.
If the nurse practitioner thinks it is best for you to see a doctor in the out of hours period (evenings, weekends and public holidays) they'll know that you're going to see them, as long as you have said that it's okay. The nurse will send the primary care emergency centre all the information about you and your call.
